Introduction to Basic IT skills
Duration: 4 week course
Location: Claremont Community Centre, Dickson Road, Blackpool
Date: Tuesday 1st April
Time: 10.00am – 12.00noon
This course introduces you to basic IT skills including Microsoft Office, internet searching, social media. The focus will be on developing these skills to gain employment but it is open to everyone wanting to learn more about these areas. This is a four week course with one subject covered on each session.
Introduction to Youthwork
Duration: 5 week course
Location: Talbot & Brunswick Childrens’ Centre, Gorton Street, Blackpool
Date: Thursday 24th
Time: April 10.00am – 3.00pm
This course is a basic introduction to the theory and practice of Youthwork. It is an interactive course enabling learners to develop their skills and is a good base to
consider going on to further study or develop work or volunteering opportunities.
Places for this course are limited and residents of the Talbot & Brunswick area will receive priority. A crèche will be available but does have limited spaces that will need to be booked.
