I am Wendy Pearce, I have been a youth worker for over 39 years, I qualified as a level 3 youth & community worker at St.Martins in 1986, followed by tutor training at St.Martins in 1987, this enabled me to run youth and community centres in Blackpool, Wyre and the Fylde, being responsible for staff and young peoples residential’s. Once qualified as a tutor I worked for the WEA running women’s courses throughout Lancashire, also introduction to youth work courses and later introduction to volunteering. I have signed up lots of young people to volunteering which has set them on their path to future careers. I have also run babysitting courses with both boys and girls for the past 35 years, in the last 4 years I have worked at UR Potential, running babysitting courses and the girls groups,  I also work with 7-11 year olds at the E.P.S boys and girls club.
