URPotential staff attended the Lytham ladies circle arranged a chocolate tasting evening in aid of fundraising for URPotential’s chosen young person, Freddie Wright.

The chocolate tasting event took place at Lytham cricket club, church road, Lytham. At 7:30 till 9:30

Who

Sam, Debbie, Linda, April, and Louise went along to the event to support Lytham ladies and be involved in the evening. Sam delivered a brief speech about who URPotential were and who Freddie Wright was, why we had been fundraising for him and what we had done to raise £1700 in the past 9 months, Sam also mentioned what the money raised would fund i.e. his electrical impulse sock and gauntlet, his physiotherapy, and his Botox injections.

How was the evening

It was a very productive evening, there were many attendees. Who were all willing to buy raffle tickets that went towards Fundraising for Freddie. The evening began with the Lytham Ladies circle introducing the event, Sam, and the chocolate company. Once the speeches were complete the chocolate tasting got underway, there was 10 chocolates to taste, all different kinds from milk and white chocolates to more acquired tasting chocolates such as rhubarb and lemon and poppy seed. The chocolate tasting concluded with orders being placed, which the commission from all orders were to be donated to Freddie. The raffle was drawn and the evening was concluded with a chocolate hamper raffle.

What was the outcome?

Lytham ladies and the chocolate tasting event managed to raise a grand total of £720 for the Leg it for Freddie fundraising campaign.
