We were shortlisted for a Britain in Bloom award and went to the awards ceremony on 23rd October. We got a ‘It’s your neighbourhood award’ for level 2: improving! Well done to staff and volunteers who helped out with the project!

Regional and National Winner Outstanding contribution to Youth Work VInspired National awards 2013
Linda Markey, URPotential Director, won the award for ‘Outstanding Contribution to Youth Work’ at the largest youth volunteering awards in the country, in recognition of her 30 years of youthwork supporting generations of young people in Blackpool Fylde and Wyre to get into volunteering and opening opportunities to reach their potential.
Short listed for SELNET Awards Small Social Enterprise 2012
Short listed for the SELNET small social enterprise company in recognition of the work achieved and growth of the project since 2010.
Winners of Blackpool Council Youth Culture Award 2012
URPotential Drama Group, a group of young people from diverse backgrounds with a variety of support needs, developed a knife crime educational drama production to deliver to young people with additional needs in Blackpool. Funded by Ben Kinsella fund(Princes Trust).
