URPotential held its 5th Annual Celebration Event at the De Vere Hotel Blackpool on Friday 4th September attended by over 200 people.
This year young people volunteered over 35,000 hours of their time equating to £413,000.00 into the local economy. They received certificates and awards for the hours they volunteered.
Our adult volunteers received certificates and awards for their volunteering in youth work, clinical assessing, IT, administration, People’s Panels and gardening.
Our adult learners gained qualifications and certificates and have moved into jobs in IT, Childcare, Administration, Youth work and the tourist industry. This year over 100 people gained employment through our courses.
